This surprisingly disturbing drama from the director of “The Social Network” is getting its first theatrical release. Despite the strange premise and a pig the size of a rhinoceros, the movie doesn’t live up to its potential as a unique and twisted film. It also has a few unappealing moments, such as a pig’s snout being punctured by darts, a masked man protecting the pig, and a rainbow-colored umbrella to catch it.
Set in an isolated, dystopian future, the movie weaves moments of hope and despair into its satirical social commentary. The film has an almost fairy-tale quality despite its brutal scenes on slaughterhouse floors and in labs. The film is also incredibly funny, despite the film’s grim subject matter, which includes disturbing images of animals being murdered. Nonetheless, the film’s bleak setting and outlandish characters make it a film for the whole family.
The film is a satire on corporate greed. Tilda Swinton reprises her role as the twin Nancy Mirando in the previous film “Hail, Casear!” The role of Nancy is equally bland and lacks character development. While Nancy isn’t the most appealing character, her role as a cheery boardroom cretin doesn’t necessarily allow for growth.
The King
“The King” is a new feature-length film based on Shakespeare’s Henriad. Despite being an adaptation of an earlier play, this adaptation seamlessly blends elements of Shakespeare and history with new material to create an enchanting movie. Whether you enjoy period dramas or medieval dramas, you’ll find “The King” to be a worthy addition to your Netflix library. If you’re looking for something to watch during the fall of 2019, Netflix has a new release to offer.

The first part of the movie features Henry delivering the famous “St. Crispin’s Day speech” while the second part focuses on Henry leading England against the French in the Battle of Agincourt.
The second part of “The King” is a shaky third act, which has viewers wishing for more action. But the acting is still excellent. Ben Mendelsohn gives a gruesome performance as the vengeful King Henry IV, and Chalamet is surprisingly self-aware as he portrays the king. And if you like Shakespeare, this film is definitely for you.
The Harder They Fall
“The Harder They Fall” is a highly-rated film that was recently screened in cinemas. Directed by Jeymes Samuel, this film features a star-studded cast including Idris Elba, Jonathan Majors, LaKenzie Stanfield, RJ Cyler, and Danielle Deadwyler. In addition to these stars, the film also stars Jonathan Majors, who plays the revenge-seeking Nat Love.
The Harder They Fall will be available for streaming on Netflix on Nov. 3 at 12:01 a.m. PT/9:01 a.m. ET. For east coasters, this may be early, but the trailers for the film look intriguing. If you’re a fan of Western movies, don’t miss “The Harder They Fall.”

“Stranger Things”
The Netflix original sci-fi and horror drama series Stranger Things is based in Hawkins, Indiana during the 1980s. The series features intense monster/slasher-type scares, frequent deaths, and peril. The show also features graphic violence, frequent use of guns, and kidnappings. Despite its youthful setting, it can be considered a mature series. For the younger crowd, however, “Stranger Things” is an excellent choice.
Season four is a dark and gory experience that involves telekinetic abilities, supernatural powers, and threats. The show’s protagonists include Max (Sadie Sink), Steve (Joe Keery), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), and Robin (Maya Hawke). Season 4 is rated PG-13. While the show has a PG-13 rating, parents should be aware that some of the episodes are rated R.
